Account lockout

After 10 unsuccessful login attempts, Riffyn locks you out of your account. If you were sent here due to an account lockout message, contact support@riffyn.com.

If urgent (i.e, your critical work is blocked and time sensitive), include URGENT in the subject line. Urgent messages are immediately sent to an on-call member of Riffyn Support. Urgent messages cause a fire drill. Do this only for an emergency.

 

Admin-required password reset

If you were sent here because your password reset requires an admin, contact support@riffyn.com.

If urgent (i.e, your critical work is blocked and time sensitive), include URGENT in the subject line. Urgent messages are immediately sent to an on-call member of Riffyn Support. Urgent messages cause a fire drill. Do this only for an emergency.

 

Lost or stolen 2-factor authentication device

If you no longer have access to your 2-factor authentication device (i.e., your phone was lost or stolen), contact support@riffyn.com to reset your Riffyn account. It may take 12-24 hours for us to process this request.

'Expired authentication token'

If you received this message, it means that too much time has passed since your account was created or a password reset link was sent to you.

To reset the expired token, return to the sign-in screen at app.riffyn.com/sign-in or yourcompany.riffyn.com/sign-in. Follow the instructions for How to reset your password. 

 


 

How to reset your password

 

Before you reset your password

When you enter an email address associated with a Riffyn user account, the Forgot Password option will always return a success screen. If the email address you enter is not associated with a Riffyn user account, no action is taken (i.e., Riffyn does not send a password reset email). This is a security measure to help us prevent attackers from phishing emails of Riffyn users. 

 

To reset your password, follow the steps below.

  1. At the bottom of the sign-in form, click Need help signing in?

  2. Click Forgot password?

  3. Enter the email address associated with your Riffyn account.

  4. Click Email Reset Link.

  5. You will receive an email with a link to reset your password in Okta. Click Reset Password.

  6. Enter your new password.

  7. Answer your security question.

 

Result

  • After you successfully enter your account information, the browser redirects you back to your Riffyn environment.

 


 

How to change your email address

 

Company email domain only

You can only change your email to an email address with the same email domain as your company. If you need to change to your email address to one that is outside of your company domain, you must contact your company's Riffyn administrator.

 

To change your email address, follow these steps.

  1. To open your user profile, click the user profile icon in the upper left corner.

  2. Click Profile.
  3. Change your email address.

  4. Click Update.

 

Result

  • If your change is successful, you will receive a Notice of email address change via email.
