Sign In To Your Riffyn Account

How to sign in to your account

To sign in to your account, follow these steps.

  1. Go to the home URL your company uses to access Riffyn: or https://www.[yourcompanyname]

  2. Enter your login credentials into the sign-in form. If successful, the browser redirects you to your Riffyn account.

  3. If your organization requires multi-factor authentication (MFA), you will next be requested to enter the digits from your linked Google Authenticator. To learn more, read how to set multi-factor authentication.

Automatic sign off

After six hours of inactivity, Riffyn automatically signs you out of your account (for security reasons).

Accounts on multiple systems

You may have multiple Riffyn accounts on different systems. For example, you may have one account on and another account on https://www.[yourcompanyname]

Here is a list of critical things you must know about having accounts on multiple Riffyn systems.

  • If those accounts use the same email address, you must use the same credentials to log into both accounts.

  • You can log in to different Riffyn environments using a single account, but you must sign up for each Riffyn environment separately on each cloud system. You have to choose a new password each time. You must verify your email address by clicking the link sent via email.

  • When using multiple cloud systems, you have to start your login process from the login page of the system that you want to access.  Be sure to check the URL to make sure you are in the right place!

Okta identity management

Riffyn's identity management is provided by a third-party provider, Okta. If you login with multi-factor authentication, your Google authenticator factor will appear as Okta not Riffyn.

Also you will see Okta's name pop-up occasionally in the authentication or account change/verification workflows.  Do not be surprised by this, it is normal.

Use of Okta helps Riffyn to conform to regulatory and compliance policies around password policy, account management, single sign-on and multi-factor authentication. It also allows our customers to use the same credentials to log into different Riffyn SDE instances e.g. and

Single Sign On (SSO)

You can access your Riffyn account via normal authentication methods (i.e., username and password) or via integration with your identity provider (IDP) by use of Single Sign On (SSO). SSO allows you to access Riffyn via other authentication routes such as the SAML 2.0 standard.

After you enter your username into the Riffyn sign in page, the browser will redirect you to a customized login screen.

Use of SSO requires custom account configuration. For information on setting up SSO for your organization, contact
