These instructions use the Riffyn Tools AddIn for JMP.

This first video shows how to query and retrieve data tables using the process ID, the experiment ID, and/or the experiment number. (Note this is an older version of the AddIn. It now has additional features and looks a little different, but the querying works the same.)

This third video shows how to automatically join data tables across experiments based on a master process that prescribes the linking between subprocesses and sub-experiments. 

Update 24 Oct 2017: The process joining tool has been significantly upgraded since posting of this video. It now has more intelligent and robust joining engine.  The query interface looks slightly different from what you see in the video. It also requires the input of a "master process" to execute the join. (Previously that was optional.)  A master process is a process in Riffyn containing linked processes for each process you want to join as is illustrated in the video below.

 

 

Joining logic on multiply-connected subprocesses

When process groups (subprocesses) in a master process multiply-connected, the joining algorithm will use "OR" logic by default. This means if any of the connections share common resources across outputs/inputs, then the join will occur between those rows.

You can override this behavior by specifying joining override settings as a JSON object in the Master Process description in this syntax:

The above object can be pasted anywhere in the Master Process Description text.  All other text in the description will be ignored and will not interfere with the parsing of this object. Spaces and newlines are ignored in parsing the JSON object also.  Group IDs can be obtained by navigating into each group on the Master Process.

Any group-pair listed as above in the array of pairs will be joined with "AND" logic on all connections between that pair.  Otherwise groups will be joined by the default "OR" logic.
