Step 6 (optional): Validate Configuration

A configuration can be check for correctness at any point by clicking the UPDATE button in the top left corner of Parsely. This will give feedback, either validation or error messages, on the Data Blocks, Run Rules, Resource Rules and Property Rules that have been defined.

If Parsely presents indicates an error in the configuration (red triangular icons), the Upload & Save button at its bottom left corner will be grayed out, preventing data upload and saving of the configuration.

If no error messages are generated, then the Parsely feedback can be reviewed to make sure it is consistent with expectations. Once satisfied that everything is correct, click Upload & Save to parse and save the data to the runs of the experiment.

If you got something wrong after upload, don't worry. You can delete the data you uploaded, edit your saved configuration file and try again.
