Parsely's Property Rules section can be used to map file data fields to Riffyn properties on experiment runs. To do this, select the "Property Rules" section of Parsely in the left navigation, and then use the drop-downs to match one or more file data fields to the corresponding Input or Output Properties as shown below.
Once the property rules are completed the configuration file can be validated.
NOTE: As of this writing Parsely will not let you store a configuration unless you have mapped at least one file data field to a property.
NOTE: All properties are listed on a step, even those that are calculated properties or fixed properties. Attempting to map file data to calculated properties will not prevent you from successfully writing data to non-calculated properties, but you will not get an error message, nor will you succeed in overwriting the calculated values. If you attempt to map file data to fixed properties, only the first value you attempt to write will be written successfully. Attempting to write a second value to a fixed property will not prevent you from writing data to non-fixed properties, but you will not get an error message, nor will you succeed in overwriting or adding to the existing fixed property data.
